That was one crazy tupperware party

Ella has started playing with normal everyday objects, greatly expanding her realm of influence (including, as you can see, the realm of Tupperware). Her curiosity is really starting to bloom; she studies things more closely, and pays attention to them longer.

She's also much more likely to reach for glasses on the counter (yes, the ones you drink from--she has already mastered grabbing glasses from her Dad's face).

Since she's been sitting in her high chair, she has also learned how to check to see if the gravity's on.

Thanksgiving

I'm not sure if Ella understands the concept of giving thanks yet, but when she does, I know she'll be so very thankful for all the people who love her.

It's never too early to geek out

Ella is helping out with the family finances.

Ella is also apparently quite concerned about how much money I spend on coffee.

Once again it's tummytime - updated -

update... I had to show the whole sequence here

When Kristy drinks water, Ella now reaches for the glass so she can get a drink, too (and actually drinks a small percentage of the water that comes out). Also, when I go to hand over Ella to Kristy, she (Ella) leans over and reaches her arms out (sorta).

This may seem like small potatoes to some (though she is a bit of a small sweet potato herself), but these are some of the first indications I've seen of her making her wishes known without crying.

Adventures in solid foods

strapped in and ready for action

Ella's first experience with the high chair proved to be a-ok. This was soon followed by her first experience with solid food.

Oh, the girl, she is a-changin'...

Pumpkin locomotion

Not being able to walk on their own, pumpkins often rely on others to move them around.
