Batter Up

Last weekend Ella attended her first softball game. Several games, actually, since it was her cousin Meghan's tournament. Her team won of course. And Ella had a great time cheering them on.

Today Grandma Charlotte taught Ella how to drink with a straw.




Of course she picked it up right away! Now there's no stopping her and her slurping.

Ella goes to the temple

Here Our Heroine guides our intrepid crew to the Mormon Temple. "Steady as she goes . . . I think I see it off the starboard bow. You know, it kinda looks like the castle in Disney!"

The gardens were beautiful, the attendants were very friendly, and everyone had a good time, including the 14-month-olds in the gang.

P.S. We should mention that Evan did an excellent job pushing Ella. Not once did she fall out!

Ella always finds that one bit of dinner that got away. Sometimes I think she flings stuff on the floor just so she can have a snack for later.
