Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treat!
Ella makes a very sweet froggie. Ribbit.

Here we go! She sorta got the hang of going door-to-door asking for candy. But she was mostly interested in the pumpkins on the porches, especially those with candles inside . . .

Going through her stash.

Ella and Her Godmother

Ella was so happy to spend some quality time with her godmother, Aunt Laurie.
She can't wait for our next trip to Indiana.

Pumpkin Art

We enrolled Ella in a give-mom-a-small-break type program. One day a week she will socialize with other kids and get to do fun stuff. Today was her first day.

Here is Ella's first ever school art project. Due to its organic nature I won't be able to save it for the scrapbook. But it certainly deserves an unveiling on the Daily Ella!

Notice the fine finger-work and swirls. A true talent.

Onward, Mighty Bobsled

Sometimes babies feel the need for speed, too. There are times when we just can't push her around fast enough.

The solution: Baby bobsledding.

Cousins can teach you a lot of things . . .

. . . like how to play Nintendo.

Oooo, They Close

On our visit Aunt Laurie provided some fun toys that Ella really enjoyed.
She was intrigued by the doll whose eyes opened and closed.

REALLY intrigued.

There She Goes

This last weekend we traveled to Indiana to visit some family.

Even though Ella had previously flown many times, this is the first flight since she's become mobile. We were just a bit worried. But Ella did great! She even slept some each way.

The secret? Let her run around in the terminal as much as possible before boarding.

There she goes!

Football Season

Ella is very happy it's football season once again.

She thinks footballs are delicious.

Ella and the Pepper

Ella holds the pepper for Mommy.
(Mommy gave her the pepper so Mommy could cook dinner)

Here Ella tries to feed the pepper a Cheerio.

Hot Doggin' Ella

A look forward about 10 years.
Ella will be swishing circles around us all!

Lagoon!

Ella spent the day at the local amusement park, Lagoon. I think the most fun she had was watching Caprice and Tayler on a mini-coaster. She positively squealed!

In other good news, her father did not succumb to dizziness even after too many roller-coasters.

Monkey Hat

"I plan on wearing this to bed. No, really."
