Ella can count to Ten! Sort of. She tends to leave out a few insignificant numbers; like 3, 4, 5 and 6.


These are her favorite gloves. When she wants to wear them she chants "numbers, numbers, numbers."




Once they are on she has a hard time taking her eyes off them.

Ella is getting really fast.



Even Tayler has to trot to keep up.

Ella has a terrible cold right now so we may not have any new pictures up for awhile.

But I realized that we didn't post any pictures of Ella all dressed up on Christmas Day. Enjoy.

What's New, Pussycat?

We at the daily ella like to, how you Americans say, shake things up a little every now and again. Don't be frightened, it's just a new masthead. I like to think that it is cleaner and more Ella-like (Ella-esque? Ella-ish?) than the previous look; yet it is not so pastel-y that it would lead to tooth decay (too much pastel is bad for the kids, I tell you).

So do let us know what you think. There may be other little tweaks here and there (as both of her parents are prone to tweak and tweak and tweak until things are just right, but the basic look won't change too much--at least for a while.

Editor's Note: My apologies to the Internet Explorer users amongst you... I didn't test the new look with IE and things weren't showing up quite correctly. Things should now be up and looking spiffy.

On, on, on

Ella loves to wear hats. (And loves to make all her toys wear hats too.)
Whenever she sees a hat or hat-like object she will say "on, on, on" until you put it on her or the offered stuffed animal.

A New Ocean Species

Yesterday Ella and I visited the Aquarium. We saw Santa-rays and an Opocus (those are the ones with eight legs). We had lots of fun.

Ella-speak

Ella can properly pronounce both cookie and monster.
But when she asks for Cookie Monster she says Cooshymushta.
