Sit-In

Lucy has been successfully sitting for about a week now. Keep them milestones a-comin', girl!

p.s. Yes, I am (painfully) aware of how the use of the phrase 'sit-in' in the title dates me.

A Happy Blur

So I took the camera to Ella's last dance class of the year, and out of the around 60 pictures, only 2 or 3 had her captured still.

All the others were photos of a happy blur.

Half the fun of having her go to these classes is watching her zoom around the house dressed in her tutu.

Where's my ice cream?

Today Lucy got her first taste of solid food. Mmmm, yummy rice cereal.



It was a great success. She ate every bit in her bowl. (Except for the one bite we had to give Ella to convince her it was NOT melted ice cream we were feeding Lucy.)

I do so adore the Infant Ballet

Here the prima ballerina leaps with her toys, expressing the sheer joy of spring.
The keys in her right hand symbolize the freedom of youth, and the toy ring in her left personifies something soft, chewy and rattly.

(Or maybe Lucy was just turning over and decided to take a rest halfway.)
