Hearing your daughter say "I have a yeast! This yeast is sooo cute! I think I'll call her Yeastie. I'm going to make her a bed so that the yeast will be nice and cozy." : priceless

The Artistes

The artistes must not be disturbed while they are working on their creations. Anyway, why would I? These are quite possibly the only quiet moments in the house while they're awake.

This morning, Ella said "I want to be an artist when I grow up."

I'm hoping that the next concept I can teach her will be "keep it as a hobby."

These are a few of my favorite things...

This baby triceratops is Ella's favorite feature of the dinosaur museum. She talks to it, she rides it, she shows it to Mommy and Daddy, and now she shares it with her sister. If I could somehow get her one of these, I would, just to watch her totally blow a gasket with excitement.

This week has been a rough one, with both Ella and Lucy down with a stomach bug.

Needless to say, it was heartbreaking and sleep-depriving for all of us.

Thankfully, both of them have bounced back and are now pitter-pattering around like before.
