As the crow flies
This year, Ella's dance class put on production of The Wizard of Oz. Ella danced as a crow, continuing the fine family tradition of portraying crows in dance recitals; Kristy was a crow in a production of The Wiz when she was a young lass.
Sadly, there was ABSOLUTELY NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED at the performance. So I will continue my own special tradition of Making Up For Quality With Quantity.
The blur you see below is Ella in flight (note the intense yet graceful flapping action). The blur behind her is the Scarecrow.

Next we have the lovely crow in a more pensive moment, right next to a cornstalk. Remember, this all takes place in a universe where cornstalks can do pirouettes.

...more awesome crow action...

...and in keeping with another great tradition, the Artist received flowers from her adoring fans...

...and last but certainly not least, yet one more tradition was continued, with the post-show trip to Basket Robbins.
