Summer, Fancy Pumpkin Carving

Mom: Lucy, let's change you out of that wet dress and get you into some warm pants. That way you can go outside and carve pumpkins!

Lucy: But I want to wear a dress. A summer dress or a fancy dress.

Mom: But a summer or fancy dress isn't really good for carving pumpkins outside.

Lucy: Why?

Mom: Because it will be too cold, it will be hard to sit on the ground, and carving pumpkins is really messy.

Lucy: OK, then I'll wear this dress (holds up a black velvet dress)

Mom: Did you hear anything I just said?

Lucy: Nope.

At the Salon

Before school started the girls went to see Aunt Caryn for a trim. And they both got to sit under the dryer for some curls. (which they loved!)





And I have to admit I didn't take any After pictures. But trust me, they looked very cute!

First day of school!

Okay, so the observant among you will note that school probably started quite a while ago, but let's just pretend that this is a timely post, and that you don't notice the lack of posts (which, I assure you, were due to changes in the way Blogger does its publishing, but I digress...)

Lucy on her first day of the year of preschool. She's done it before so you can see the confidence oozing from her pores.
